How to Hide the Final Treasure Like a Magician

The end of a treasure hunt is what kids remember most. Here is how to hide the final prize so it feels magical without stressing yourself out.

Choose a Hiding Helper

If possible, have one adult walk slightly ahead with the treasure while the other stays with the kids. The lead adult can:

  • Tuck the prize behind a bench, tree, or rock mentioned in the final clue.
  • Stand nearby to make sure no one else picks it up.
  • Secretly adjust the exact spot if the area is busier than expected.

If you are alone, you can also “discover” the treasure together, then add a small extra item from your bag at the last second.

Want the story and clues for the grand finale already written.

The Golden Acorn Quest gives you a complete script and map for the final reveal so you only need to decide what goes inside the treasure.
